Course Description :

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are engaged to manage the work of others or to add value to or review management practices. Their role may be in any industry or organisational setting. Typically people in these roles will have considerable experience in their respective industries or vocational areas and couple an informed perspective of the specific work requirements with their managerial approaches. To complete this course a total of 8 units must be completed.

On successful completion of Diploma of Community Welfare Work you will be able to seek employment as:

  • Business and Administration Associate Professionals

Graduates with the diploma qualification can apply for entry into BSB60407 Advanced Diploma of Management, or a range of other Advanced Diploma qualifications

Entry Requirements :

  • Successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent, and
  • IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL 530

Course duration :

Course Duration: 52 weeks

This course is conducted over a period of one academic year of full time study and consists of a minimum of 20 teacher contact hours per week.

Credit Transfer/ Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) :

You may be eligible for an exemption or credit transfer if you are able to demonstrate that you have achieved the level of skills and knowledge equivalent to the unit of competency in a course at another institute or through work experience. This is confirmed with the College at the time of enrolment.
