College of Innovation and Industry Skills dedicated and experienced staff is committed to provide comprehensive recruitment services to its enrolled students. This includes initial job search, resume writing, interview preparation, finding volunteer or paid work experience related to students vocational education program, personal development workshops and organizing in house seminars by industry experts.

All overseas students who wish to seek employment while their study in the college will undertake an important one hour workshop with the HR Manger.

The main topics of discussion will be:-

  • explain students about their work rights in the Australian work place and their work visa limitations
  • initial discussion about student skills/experiences with the HR Manger
  • make students familiar with the major Australian job search sites
  • scheduling appointments for two hour Resume/Cover letter writing sessions
  • and encourage students to write about their Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT)
